Andre de Castro Zorzo

Backend engineering

Andre builds the backend and infrastructure behind the platform. He designed the AWS architecture, built the serverless API, and implemented the MCP integration that enables AI-powered workflows within the CMS. Although primarily focused on backend engineering, Andre has also contributed to the CMS product, including the WYSIWYG editor, using AI-assisted development with tools such as Claude Code to work effectively across the stack.

Andre brings more than two decades of experience in software engineering. He spent 18 years at Alert Logic, a global Managed Detection and Response (MDR) provider protecting more than 4,000 organizations across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments. He joined as a full-stack PHP developer working on customer-facing security consoles and gradually moved into backend Python engineering, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure.

At Alert Logic, he built and maintained systems used by the company's 24/7 Security Operations Center, including cloud-native backend platforms, real-time incident monitoring, multi-datacenter infrastructure, and data pipelines supporting security analysis across thousands of customers.

Today, his work combines that backend and infrastructure experience with modern serverless and AI technologies. His core stack includes Python, AWS, Lambda, DynamoDB, Kinesis, SQS, ElastiCache, S3, REST APIs, MCP, PHP, and MySQL.

Lives in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.
